Some rather lovely graffiti I spotted in Vancouver, BC.

Zack and I went downtown to the market yesterday. It was a nice day to explore. We stopped in at an antique shop and spent a fair amount of time shuffling through some old photographs. There were so many gems, though we narrowed it down to just a few. I’m putting up some of my favorites for today. I especially love all the accidental light exposure.  Zack got to the photo bin before me and snagged some really great photos, too. I’ll try to get my hands on those as soon as he’s not looking.

A few months ago I bought myself a typewriter. Royal Quiet De Luxe with green keys. I love it. I was inspired by a book I read by Jonathan Safran Foer, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. The book was a gift and I am grateful for it. It instantly went on my list of all-time favorites. It’s a clever and beautiful story of an inquisitive child in the aftermath of 911.

Welcome to the new blog.  I am so excited to have it finally up and running!  Mostly, this will be a place where I share interesting finds, moments, thoughts, readings, photographs, art..
